My client is a Payments specialist. They are looking for a senior level salesperson, requiring at least 10 years of experience selling domain and technology consulting & professional services. Experience selling into Financial Institutions/Issuing Processors is mandatory. This is a quota-carrying Sales position responsible for selling their Professional Services into the Financial and Retail/Commercial market space. You will be responsible for driving new sales into targeted accounts with existing relationships, as well as generating new leads into a defined whitespace list with limited or no established relationships. In this role, you will need to be self-sufficient and motivated to cultivate and win new business.


  • Selling Professional Services (PS) including Staff Augmentation, QA, System Integration, etc.  into Financial Institutions/Issuing Processors, Retail and Commercial markets
  • Driving new sales into targeted accounts with existing relationships, as well as generating new leads into a defined whitespace list with limited or no relationships
  • Responsible for selling PS, developing new accounts and/or expanding existing accounts
  • Solicits and maintains network of prospects and brings in an actionable rolodex to target
  • “Sales Hunter” – ability to find new customers and succeed in complex environments.
  • Works as a member of a sales team to sell assigned products or services to identified key accounts
  • Consultative sales process essential in understanding high level requirements, understand market forces, and competitive intelligence
  • Prepares and presents proposals, presentations, and requirement gathering sessions to clients - utilizing company’s resources and tools
  • Takes an active role in directing/managing various field sales organization solicitations
  • Assists in the development of sales plans and strategies
  • Meets sales goals and objectives
  • Other related duties assigned as needed


  • 10+ years of North American Payments Experience is mandatory
  • Experience selling consulting and professional services to Financial Institutions is mandatory
  • General knowledge of financial and/or payment solutions technology including systems, applications and banking practices
  • Looking for a self-starter and someone that can grasp our technical solutions and take the initiative to be self-sufficient
  • Proven experience to create and drive business from the ground up
  • Requires expert communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Requires solid decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Analytical skills are required to determine client business needs and requirements
  • Ability to show established track record of involvement in industry trade groups preferred
  • Requires the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management (internally/externally), employees, clients and public
  • Travel is required (50%)
