BSM Group are representing a client seeking a Risk Management Specialist


  • Completion of monthly data extraction, analysis and reporting tasks
  • In-depth data analysis to be presented to Management
  • Development of ad-hoc reports
  • Data collection, verification and presentations working with Region and Managers
  • Assisting claims management for EMEA
  • Responsible for the companies insurance funding, FX transfers and verifying claim payments
  • Maintaining and updating department procedures and suggesting improvements
  • Completion of ad-hoc project tasks and analysis for other departments in the company


  • Bachelor’s degree 2:1 or higher in any business or finance related subject
  • 2 years’ experience in a Finance or Treasury related role within an office environment
  • Experience or knowledge of the insurance industry is highly desirable (monthly claims or recharging / distribution of costs or premiums)
  • A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, SharePoint and PowerPoint)
  • Extensive and demonstrable MS Excel skills including Vlookups; Pivot tables; Macros etc.
  • Potential to develop strong project management, communication (written and oral), interpersonal and negotiating skills
  • Experience and ability to manipulate and analyse large volumes of data
  • Proven initiative to create and explore potential routes of enquiry and so they can be presented and discussed within the Risk and other departments
  • Part-qualified or studying towards a professional qualification (ARM, CIMA, CII, ACCA)
  • Finance experience such as preparation of accounts to a Trial Balance and preparing invoice payments is desirable
  • Experience within an Internal Audit function or with maintaining self-audit papers
  • Fluency in one or more foreign languages would be advantageous, but not essential
